He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace McDougal and Everett Herron; his wife Bonnie McClung of Sheridan, AR; his siblings, Ernest, Will, Melburn (Chunk), Jack, Joe Herron, Lennie Keele, Patsy Housley and Marie Drewry; his nephews, Wilmeth, Billy Ed Herron and John Housley; and his niece Betty Lewis.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Herron McRae (Kenny), Jeanie Herron Williams (Mike) and Scott Herron (Michelle); his grandchildren, Matt Graves (Leslie), Colin McRae Mitchell (Guy), Amanda Williams McMahan (Adam), Laura Herron Hilburn (Scott) and Dylan Herron (Bryana); his great grandchildren, Madeline, Guy, Leslie Mitchell, Ella, Max Rollwagen, Phoebe, Pyper McMahan, Annaleigh and Aniston Hilburn; and his sister Florence Strickland of Harrison, AR. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
