She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Calvin Vanhoozer and Nadine Emberton Vanhoozer; and her brother R. C. Vanhoozer. She is survived by : her husband Donald Pierce; her children, Jason Pierce and Amanda Talbert; her sisters, Jewel McCulley of Jerusalem, Connie Schoggin of Higden, Cendie Thomas of Port St and Karen Miller of Knoxville, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Lyric, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Dixie, Zora and Aisling. She is also survived by numerous other extended family members and many friends.
