She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wilbur Chapman and Edith Rice; her husband J. W. Gilbert; her son Charley Stanfield; her stepdaughter Kathy (James Vann); her sons-in-law, Randy Rice and Wayne Hemmert; and her siblings, Chuck Chapman, Bob Chapman and Sharon (Lyle Gugin).
She is survived by: her children, Bob Stanfield (Rhonda) of Doland, Wayne Stanfield (Lori) of Huron, Chris Standfield (Cindy) of Huron, Vickie Rice of Huron, Martha Whitely (Gary) of Berryville, Dennis Gilbert (Angela) of Prattsville, Evelyn Crutchfield (Dale) of Prattsville and Carole Hemmert of Prattsville; and her sister Charlene Harrell of Orland, California. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren, and many other extended family members and friends.
