It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Lee Mooney of Sheridan, Arkansas, born in Prattsville, Arkansas, who passed away on December 5, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rody H. Mooney and Ava Reynolds Mooney; and his former wife Dorothy S. Mooney. He is survived by: his wife Joan C. Mooney of Sheridan; his daughter Carol Ann Meadors (Rick) of Newnan; his grandchildren, Matt Meadors of Atlanta, Georgia and Beth Upton (Zack) of Flowery Branch; his great grandchildren, Barrett and Braxton Upton; and his stepchildren, Linnie Grice (Randy) of Kingsland and Paul Smith (Susan) of Pine Bluff. He is also survived by step grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
