It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Orbie O. Thompson of Sheridan, Arkansas, born in Monticello, Arkansas, who passed away on May 11, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased BYU : his parents, Edwin O Thompson and Lucy Pruitt Strickland; his daughter Angela Thompson; and his sister Bernice Hall. He is survived by : his wife Pam Scott Thompson; and his siblings, Jimmy Strickland, Frankie Denis and Bonnie Slater of Sheridan. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
