It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Odelo Pierre Pitre Jr. of Sheridan, Arkansas, born in Port Sulphur, Louisiana, who passed away on October 8, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Odelo Pierre Pitre, Sr. and Irene Blanchard Pitre; and his brother Irvin Pitre. He is survived by: his children, Odelo "Pete" Pitre III (Paula) of Sheridan, James Pitre of Houma, Louisiana, Theresa Pitre LeBoeuf (Benny) of Houma, Louisiana, Retta "Christy" Anderson, Angie Scott and Rachel Holland; his sisters, Shirley Deroche of Bourg and Earline Liner (Jerry) of Bourg, Louisiana; his father-in-law James Walton Anderson of Sheridan; his siblings-in-law, Jack Anderson of Venezuela and Diane Stevens (Timmy) of Malvern; his grandchildren, Amber Pitre, Brooke Pitre, James W. Pitre, Jr., Camden Smith, Mary Pitre and Jonah LeBoeuf; his great grandchildren, Riley, Brody, Savannah and Solomon; and his grandchildren, Bethanie, Ava, Tyler, Mahlon, Katie and Nick, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
