He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Grindstaff, Sr. and Edna Martin Grindstaff; and his son Michael Cole Grindstaff. He is survived by: his wife Marianne Grindstaff of Sheridan; his son-in-law Ricky Sheeks of Benton; his siblings, Todd Grindstaff of Rocky Mount, Virginia and Lynn; his brother-in-law Davy Mitchell of Penhook, Virginia; his grandchildren, Elye Grindstaff, Kyla Harvey and Jersie Sheeks; and his nieces and nephews, Chas Mitchell (Jessica), Whitney Eanes (Casey) and Huntley Grindstaff. He is also survived by 5 great nieces and nephews.
