He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron W. Rhodes and Alma Rhodes Keller; and his brothers, Hubert, Jerry and David Rhodes.
He is survived by: his wife Leaslie Rhodes; the mother of his children Harriet Rhodes; his sons, Jason (Kari Rhodes) and Jonathan (Bridget Rhodes); and his grandchildren, Dusty, Jaxon and Colton Rhodes. He is also survived by numerous other family members and many friends.
