He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Newman and Betty Diment Newman; his brother Robert; and his stepfather Aaron Griepp. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Marc Newman (Teresa) and Terri Helland (Mark); his stepchildren, Mark Caldwell (Karen) and LeighAnn Ford (Darren); his grandchildren, Allison Helland, Christian, Brandon, Caity and Carson Newman; his stepgrandchildren, Jordyn Carlson (Josh), Logan Murry (Kayla), Regan Murry, Mason, Cayden (Hayley), Tanner and Eli Caldwell; his great grandchildren, Layne, Dawson, Lylah Brooke Caldwell, Maddox, Myles Caldwell and Elle Carlson; and his siblings, Sharon Novak (Don) of Springfield, Randy Newman (Maria) of Oklahoma City and Tim Newman (Suzanne) of Calgary.
