She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Lee Mote and Thelma Gwin Mote; her significant other J. R. Mote; her husbands, James H. Mitchell and L. D. Lovell; her daughter Marcia Elaine Mitchell; and her grandson Ian Anthony Mitchell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Roseann Mitchell and Ellen Thompson; and her grandchildren, Stacia Sauls, Lauren Sauls, Blake Mitchell, Bethany Billeau, Aaron Mitchell, Julie Hollis and Erica Thompson. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and many friends.
