He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie F. Burnett and Lucie J. Burnett; his wife Belinda S. Burnett; his daughter Cynthia K. Creech; and his siblings, Febbie Manes, Ocie Duran, Emma Hubman, Mary Potter and Marvin Burnett.
He is survived by: his children, David Burnett, Jr. (Rochelle) of Alexander, Sheila Taylor (Roger) of Benton and Troy Burnett (Cheryl) of Sheridan, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Ericka Rogers, Austin Taylor, Joe Young, Wesley Burnett, Lisa McGaughey, Amber Creech, Amanda Wood, Courtney Gilbert and Zachary Creech; and his niece Bobbi Jo Edwards (David) of Conway, Arkansas.. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
