He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Augusta and Ruth Henry Walters; his sons, Matthew Caplinger "Matt" Walters and David Christian Walters; and his brother Sonny Walters.
He is survived by: his wife Sammye Caplinger Walters of Sheridan; his grandsons, Tyler Walters (Sam Golden) of Little Rock and Nicholas Walters of Conway; his brother-in-law Randy Caplinger (Karen) of Wylie, Texas; his niece Tiffany Gruber (Brandon) of Wylie, Texas; his nephew Justin Caplinger (Lacey); his cousin Vicki Patrick of Crossett, Arkansas.; and also Harper of Arlington, Texas.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Sheridan Church of Christ (901 N Main St, Sheridan, AR 72150).
