He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Petty and Leah Cogburn Petty; his brother John Petty; and his stepson Scotty Hix. He is survived by: his significant other Sherley Petty; his siblings, Betty, Carl Kelly of Sheridan, Billy and Chloe Petty of Malvern; and his stepson Gary Don Hix (Renee) of Grapevine. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
