Cassie Renee Tully McNair Obituary

Cassie Renee Tully McNair, 39, of Sheridan, earned her wings October 6, 2022.

Cassie was born to Charles Larry "Chuck" Tully, Jr. and Lisa Renee Nall Tully on January 12, 1983. She was a 2001 graduate of Glen Rose High School, as well as an honors graduate of UALR class of 2006, with a Bachelor's degree in psychology. She was baptized into the Baptist Church by Bro. Gary Gibson.

Cassie is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Geneve Nall, and paternal great-grandparents Madison "Papa" and Trudy Tully.

She is survived by her husband and soulmate, Curtis McNair of Sheridan; sons Ottis Harris, Charlie Roberts, and Zane McNair; daughters Ella Harris and Charley McNair; parents Chuck and Lisa Tully of Prattsville; brother Keith Tully (Jackie) of Benton; maternal grandfather Nathan Nall of Prattsville; paternal grandparents Charles Tully, Sr. (Theada) of Hot Springs; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

More than anything, Cassie found her calling as a devoted wife and mother. She and her husband, Curtis, raised their five children in a home filled with love and understanding. Cassie enjoyed spending time with her kids outdoors tent camping and rock hounding. She was a den mother to Ottis and Charlie's Boy Scout and Cub Scout chapters, and wanted to teach the importance of service to the community. She enjoyed music and the Arts, especially Broadway musicals. Cassie spent many years overcoming obstacles and hardships, and did so with no other reason than to make sure her children had the best future possible. She believed in second chances, and believed people could change for the better, and then proved that every day. She was a fighter, a warrior, and believed, above all else, that "the faith of a mustard seed could move a mountain.". Cassie's bright personality and energetic spirit will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Tully, Donny Samples, Kevin Dixon, Dillon McCoy, Nathan Johnson, and Chris Freeman. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Lloyd and Joey Reynolds.

Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 9 at Ashby Funeral Home.

A memorial service in her honor will be held at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton on Monday, October 10 at 11:00 a.m., with internment to follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville. Rev. Don Tallison will be officiating.
