He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wilson Pifer and Louise Weister Pifer; and his sister Barbara. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hawbaker Pifer of Sheridan; his children, Tony Vaughn (Chalice) of Sheridan and Denise Holiman (Brent) of Prattsville; his sister Luana Palumbo (Joe) of Dubois, PA; his grandchildren, Michael Hollinger, Hayden Vaughn and Gavin Vaughn; and his great grandchild Lily.
