It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Hartwick (Sheridan, Arkansas), born in Hermitage, Arkansas, who passed away on May 17, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Henry and Jessie May Smith Clement; and her husband Ulan S. Hartwick. She is survived by: her siblings, Ralph Clement and Jane Hall; her granddaughter Keeshan Jones Gingrich; her daughters, Sue Pyland of Little Rock, Sissy Hartwick Pederson of Fayetteville and Brenda Riley (Mark) of East End; and her grandchildren, Dr. Clay Riley (Lana) of Little Rock, Chad Riley of East End and Kiley Pederson Miller (Michael). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
