It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Carolyn Hicks of Sheridan, Arkansas, born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, who passed away on December 7, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Wayne and Ruby Lee Hamilton Holloway; her sister Linda Sue Drake; and her niece Meliana Gibbs-Talbert. She is survived by: her husband William Hicks, Jr.; her sons, Eddie Hicks (Susan) and Jeff Hicks (Brittanie); her brother David Holloway (Charlene); her sister-in-law Pat Davis of Sheridan; her grandchildren, Whitney Lively (Tanner) of Sheridan, Hannah Ware (Nick) of Hot Springs, Tayler Hight (Colby) of Sheridan and Bailey Hicks of Sheridan; and her great grandchildren, Hannah, Charli Mae and Grayson. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
