He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse William Smith and Iona Victoria Mardis Smith; his wife Virginia Bridges Smith; his sisters, Annie Virginia Bowen, Emma Frances Gandy, Dorothy Mae Patrick and Memphis; and his granddaughter Leslie Ann McAlister of Centerton.
He is survived by: his children, Sheridan E. Stracener (Danny) of Bella Vista and Anthony E. Smith of Searcy. He is also survived by three great-grandsons, and five great great-grandchildren.
