He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sr. Carey and Antoinette Rogers Carey; his wife Anita Faye Carey; his daughter Jeannie Carey; his grandchildren, Kayla Rose Glerup and Cameron Carey; and his siblings, Pete Carey and Elizabeth Carey.
He is survived by: his children, Carmen Carey of London, Jerri Bangerter (Brad) of Leota, Terri Eligh (Mark) of Searcy, Arkansas and Michael Carey (Jamie) of Woodard, Oklahoma; and his brother Bob Carey (Pat) of New York City. He is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; as well as many extended family and friends.
