He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Birdsong and Nettie Bell Birdsong. He is survived by: his spouse Luanne Birdsong; his sister Margaret Rainwater; his daughter Bridget Price; his son-in-law Paul Price; his son Wes Birdsong; his daughter-in-law Ashley Duffee; his grandchildren, Rylan and Luke Price; his siblings-in-law, Roger Pettit, Ray Lowe and Marilyn Pettit; and his pets, Sam, Maggie and Bella. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to First Baptist Church of Searcy or Unity Health-Pyeatt Family Cancer Center.
