He was predeceased by: his parents, Orion P. McLain and Esther Haynes McLain; his siblings, Wilma, Willene, Wanda, Margaret and Wade; and his son Bobby Leon McLain.
He is survived by: his children, Malcom McLain (Sonya) of Searcy, Rebecca Robbins of Searcy and Janice Patterson (Eric) of Pangburn. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Arkansas Children's Hospital.
