He was predeceased by: his parents, Palmer McFalls and Maude McFalls; his son Rick Vernon McFalls; and his siblings, Russell, Robert, Phillip, John, Thomas McFalls, Ruth Carter and Katie Hughes.

He is survived by: his wife Sue McFalls; his sister Bobbie Sue McBryde (Leroy); his children, Greg McFalls (Shelly), Robyn Pratt (Roger) and Kenny Woodruff; his grandchildren, Cody Wilson, Jenny Sammons (Matt), Autumn Moody (Collin), Josh McFalls, Lindsey McFalls and Anthony Woodruff; and his great grandchildren, John Parker Wilson, Cooper Wilson, Weston Sammons, Whitley Sammons, Reese Moody and Maggie Moody.
