The memory of Vernon Lorton of Searcy, Arkansas, who passed away on March 21, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Orris Alton and Maggie Elizabeth Wadsworth Lorton; his wife Ollie Mae Miller; his son Phillip Dale Lorton; and his sister Freda Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, David Lorton (Lisa) and Mike Lorton; his grandchildren, Callie Huffstutler (Garett), Josh Lorton (Brittany), Kathryn Gosha (Nathan), Matthew Lorton and Mason Lorton; his great grandchildren, Lane Huffstutler and River Lorton; and his nephew Larry Smith (Sue). He is also survived by other family members and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the First Assembly of God (101 Benton Ave, Searcy, AR 72143).
