She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kendrick Baker and Alice Lynn Baker; her grandparents, William Archie, Malissa Nelson Baker, Jessie Thomas and Bennie Lydell Reynolds; her sister Dinah M. Baker; and her niece Alanna Denae Powell.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Cleveland Akins; her daughter Dinah Maria Baker of Conway, AR; her stepchildren-in-law, Eugene C. Akins, Jr. of Austin, TX, Reco Akins (Eva) of Ft. Worth and Erica Akins of Pine Bluff; and her siblings, James I. Baker (Undra) of McCrory, Jane A. Baker of Searcy, Judith M. Hart of Kensett, Jewel B. Harris (Les) of Maumelle, Alice F. Nance of Sherwood, Jessie R. Baker (Deanna) of Medina, TN and Andy K. Baker of Little Rock. She is also survived by 7 grand children in love, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Centennial Baptist Church (309 NE 2nd St, Kensett, AR 72082). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at the Crow Cemetery (237 Mobley Ln, Kensett, AR 72081).
