Sanford Leyon Hames Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 10, 2020, at the age of 79, Sanford Leyon Hames of Searcy, Arkansas, born in Violet Hill, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nova Virgie Clark Hames and Bill Hames; his son Richard Leyon Hames; his granddaughter Kayla Rose Glerup; and his nephew Mike Hames.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Hames; his children, Billy Hames (Nicole) of Searcy, Jerri Bangerter (Brad), Terri Eligh (Randall) and Brandy West (Greg); and his siblings, Bill Hames (Marion) of Spokane, Washington and Sandra Miller of Melbourne, Arkansas. He is also survived by three nephews; one niece; six great-nephews; and one great-niece.
Due to the most recent COVID-19 directive, attendance is strictly limited to 100 people and face covering must be worn at all times.
