He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hess and Mamie Hess (DuBois); and his son Keith Hess. He is survived by: his wife Laverne Hess; his children, Rudolph Hess Jr., Charles Hess and Melody Kennedy; and his siblings, Richard Hess, Dorothy Boeckmann and Jean Hess. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
