He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Elsie Clegg (Zelenski). He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Clegg (Dau); his children, Mark Clegg (Valerie), Jean Waldrop and Thomas Clegg; his grandchildren, Stephen Clegg, Sherry Clegg, Benjamin Waldrop (Becky) and Travis Waldrop; and his great grandchildren, Matthew, Abigail, Jacob Waldrop and Laura McKeon.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the new Crain Memorial Library of Searcy or to Our Shepherd Lutheran Church of Searcy.
