He was predeceased by: his father Haston Story; his stepfather John Birch; his grandparents, Carline, Clarence Fansler and Vachy R. Story; his brother Redgy Story (Anne); and his granddaughter Bella Copas.
He is survived by: his mother Betty Birch (Fansler); his wife Melinda Story; his children, Justin Story, Regina Sinkey (Coty), Austin Story and Laura Dupree (Stone); his grandchildren, Mari Story, Havannah Boysha, Slade Boysha, Gabriella Story, Asher Sinkey, Collin Story, Alexander Story, Audrey Story, Samson Story and Holly Taylor; and his siblings, Diannia Crum (Robert), Maddox (Mike) and Ronnie Story (Sissy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
He was the president and founder of the Vachy R. Story Foundation, a special recovery ministry that has and will continue to help numerous people change their lives.
