He was predeceased by: his parents, Moody Lee, Sr. and Lennie Mae Kirksey (Campbell); and his siblings, Moody Lee Kirksey, Jr., William Jackson Kirksey, Wanda Loretta Kirksey, Ada Belle Koettel and Mae Tilley.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Presley Smith of Conway, Mitzi Dianne Burdette (Mark) of Jackson and Lee Ann High (James) of Hernando, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Amanda Burdette, Joshua Burdette, Sophie Grace High and Micalea Smith; and his great grandchildren, Alexa, Autumn and Avery Burdette.
