It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Dixon of Searcy, Arkansas, born in Batesville, Arkansas, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Dixon and Berniece Dixon. He is survived by: his wife Ann Cowan; his children, Carrie Jones, Greg Dixon of Sacramento, CA, Matt Dixon (Valerie) of Spring Grove, PA and Hannah Wood (Sam) of Searcy, AR.; his grandchildren, Isaac Jones, Hayden Dixon, Hailey Dixon and Peter Wood; his brother Lynn Dixon (Sally) of Florence, AL; and his nieces and nephews, Sara Landes (Kime), Keli Mills (Jared) of Florence and Anna Sullivan (Micah) of Fairview, TN.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Rudolph and Berniece Dixon Scholarship at Harding University.
