With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nellie Ballard of Searcy, Arkansas, who passed away on January 21, 2021 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nellie Ballard to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Dennis and Sallie Dennis; her former husband James Oscar Minyard, Jr.; her husband Robert Banks "Buck" Ballard; her daughter Vickie Lynn Minyard Tucker; and her son-in-law Dale Tucker.
She is survived by: her children, Carnell Minyard Yarbrough (Gary) and Roger B. Ballard (Patricia); her grandchildren, Melisa Tucker Smock Clouette (Kyle), Greg Yarbrough (David Jones) and Kevin Yarbrough (Jacquelyn); her great grandchildren, Emily Smock, Lindsey Yarbrough, Anna Yarbrough and Memomma; her stepgrandson Jared Smith (Hope); and her stepgreat-granddaughters, Savannah, McKenzie, Jaslynne, Felicity and Memomma. She is also survived by three grandchildren and one step-grandson and great-grand daughters.
Due to Covid restrictions a family graveside service will be held at Gum Springs Cemetery.
