He was predeceased by: his children, Michael Hodges, Julia Walters and Marcia Hodges; and his sister Beatrice Brimer. He is survived by: his daughter Billie Jean Manning (Richard); his sisters, Jane Erwin, Marilyn Ridings (Derrel) and Gloria Reinhardt (Ken); his grandchildren, Michele Ford (Donnie), Crystal Hardwick (John), Barbie Norrell, Jesse Hodges, Michael Pierce (Lora), Jerry Pierce, Michael Hodges (Janice), Christopher Hodges, Josh Corlis (Keri) and Lonnie Walters (Jenni); and his spouse Evelyn Blake Hodges. He is also survived by twenty-one great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
