He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie Vines and Lois Vines. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Gowen Vines; his daughter Tonya Carden (Bill); his siblings, John Vines (Paula) and Molly Cheatham; his grandchildren, Courtney Drain (Justin) and Joe Carden (Erin); and his great grandchildren, William and Blakley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
