She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Oldson and Edith Oldson; her husband Walter Vaughn Hastings; her daughters, LaDonna Kay Hastings and Susan Lynn Bowman; and her brothers, Bill Oldson and Bob Oldson.
She is survived by: her son Michael Vaughn Hastings (Eric Camp) of Little Rock; her son-in-law Don Bowman of Bald Knob; her brothers, Ronnie Oldson (Debbie), Russ Oldson (Kathy) of Denton, TX and Randy Oldson of Rock Springs, Wyoming.; and her grandchildren, Samantha Hastings Pearson (Michael), Anthony Joeris (Kim) of Abilene, TX, Joshua Bowman (Lauren) of Vilonia and Jeremy Bowman (Jennifer) of Hazen, Arkansas..
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Powell Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1272 AR-367, Bald Knob, AR 72010). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Tri-State Basset Hound Rescue, a nonprofit rescuing basset hounds from dire circumstances in Arkansas and beyond (tristatebassets.org).
