He was predeceased by: his father Floyd; and his siblings, Lloyd Carter, J. D. Carter and Carolyn Kurk. He is survived by: his wife Romona Carter; his children, Sandy Vaughan (Tommy) of Searcy and Donnie Carter (Sarah Mae Salinger) of Springfield, MO; his grandchildren, Gage Vaughan (Lindsey), Haley Rowe (Kenneth Rowe, Jr.), Patience Vaughan, Taylor Lambert, Faith Witcher (Roady) and Jazmun Avery (Mark); and his siblings, L. D. Carter (Bonnie) and Ruth Sterling (Cleo). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
