It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Gilpin (Searcy, Arkansas), who passed away on May 13, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brothers, George Isaac, Elmo (Virginia) and Tolbert (Mary); her brother-in-law Earnest Walker; her brother Earl; and her sister-in-law Fannie Lou.
She is survived by: her child James Marvin; her husband Joseph Manly Gilpin; her brothers, Ralph Curry and Wayne; her sisters-in-law, Vesta Curry and Judy Curry; her sisters, Sybil Walker and Eunice; her siblings-in-law, Carol Robertson, Everett Williams, Beulah Curry, Joyce Shehyn, Gail Windover and John Gale; her children-in-law, Lisa McQuerter, Monna Gilpin, Roman Ibarra and Kristina Gilpin; her grandchildren, Joseph, Nick, Drew, Meghan, Luis, Gracelynn, Kasen, Breckyn and Jersey; and also, Vernon, Gladys and Sharon Auerbach.
In lieu of flowers, the family recommends contributions to support the Searcy Children's Home.
