With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jon Arthur Bucher of Searcy, Arkansas, born in Lincoln, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jon Arthur left this world on December 24, 2024 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jonn Orris Bucher, Marguerite Marie Roy Bucher, Samuel, Duane (Ed), Dan, Neida Dunn, Susie Grimes and Jim; his significant other Susan Ann Compton Bucher; and his son Jon Aric Bucher.
He is survived by: his daughters, Renee Bucher Clemmons (Mark) of Heber Springs, AR and Amy Bucher Manley (Gordon) of Fort Smith, AR; and his stepchildren, Julie Vodehnal McLaughlin (Ron) of Searcy, AR, Desi Vodehnal Harmon (Mark) of New Port Richey, FL and Tyler Vodehnal (Christy) of Prairie Grove, AR. He is also survived by grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Paul Global Methodist Church (2509 W Beebe Capps Expy, Searcy, AR 72143). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to St. Paul Global Methodist Church in Jon's memory.
