He was predeceased by: his parent John Richard Burkett. He is survived by: his parent Coyle Nolen Burkett; his children, Karla Jane Burkett, John Marc Burkett and Stephen Hanes Burkett; his siblings, Nelda Angel, Nell Taylor, Jean Calhoun, Berthold Burkett, Hulan Burkett and Leo Burkett; his friend Ken Story; and his nephew Robert Taylor. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
John N. Burkett of Searcy died September 11, 2018 after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
