He was predeceased by: his parents, H. C. Sims and Ida Sims (Throngmartin); and his wife Norene. He is also survived by one daughter, one son, 6 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the White County Memorial Gardens (604 Eastline Rd, Searcy, AR 72082).
