Jerry Mote Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 25, 2022, at the age of 81, Jerry Mote of Searcy, Arkansas, born in Justin, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lynn Sowell Mote; his children, Angie Henrie (Patrick) and Greg Dwain Mote (Shannon); his siblings, Gail Mote (Sandy) and Rhonda Hillis (Lanny); his sister-in-law Nancy Sowell Hatfield (David); and his grandchildren, Dillon Howard, Emma Nguyen (Josh), Ben Howard, Wyatt Mote, Garrett Mote, Michael and Abby Hamby. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and other extended family and many, many friends.
The family has asked that any Memorials be made to either Searcy High School Football Foundation or Harding University Football Foundation in Coach Mote's name.
