James Eason Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Eason of Searcy, Arkansas, born in Edgemont, Arkansas, who passed away on January 16, 2021 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Eason to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Eason, Sr. and Edna Birdsong Smith Eason; his significant other Vena Martin Eason; his siblings, Vernon Smith, Lena Smith Morgan of Cleburne County and Marie Smith Barnum of Cleburne County; and his son-in-law Bob Weagly of Chambersburg, PA..

He is survived by: his brother-in-law Virl Martin (Annelle) of Louisville, KY; his children, Jamie Eason Weagly of Searcy, AR, Ruth Eason Hooper (Mark) of Little Rock, AR and Ed Eason (Ann) of Conway, AR.; his grandchildren, Erik Faust (Jenn) of Goffstown, NH, Kevin Faust of Chambersburg, PA, Dylan Weagly (Erin) of Mt. Joy, PA, Michelle Eason Byler (James) of Valley Springs, AR and Jacque Eason Dumas of Bentonville, AR.; and his great grandchildren, Connor, Landon Weagly, Joey, Adam Byler and Brooke Dumas. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Due to COVID-19, there will not be a viewing or visitation.
