He was predeceased by: his parents, Olus Gill and Rebecca Marie Gill (Kissee); his son Michael Edward Gill; and his brothers, Jerry, Harold Gill and Duel Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Lynda Gill; his children, Duane Gill (Stephanie) and Susan Renee Deems; his grandchildren, Rachel Elizabeth Deems, Lauren Nicole Deems, Eryka Riley Berryhill, Easton Ryan Gill and Elly Rilan Gill; and his siblings, Colbert Gill (Doris), Patsy Martin and Barbara Stevenson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
