He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Best and Marjorie Best; his wife Patsy Rose McCullough Best; his sons, Martin Best and Michael Best; and his brothers, Ken Best and Jerry Best.
He is survived by: his son Dr. Timothy R. Best (Nancy); his grandson Daniel Best of Lake Charles, Louisiana; his daughter-in-law Mary Best of Searcy; and his brother John Best (Jean) of Hot Springs. He is also survived by loving in-laws, cousins, nephews and nieces.
