It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Strain (Searcy, Arkansas), born in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Strain (Dan) and Maxine Lester Strain; and his brother-in-law Grady Blakely. He is survived by: his son Steven Ray (Krisha); his granddaughters, Brooklyn and Taylor Beardsley; his stepson Grant Kennedy; and his siblings, Gale Hansen (Jerry) of Searcy, Jo Ann Blakely of Searcy, Mary Beth Harrison (Kenneth) of Romance and Rick Strain of Rose Bud. He is also survived by His extended family contained 16 nieces and nephews, 35 great-nieces and nephews with more on the way and 12 great-great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Cemetery Fund, 3000 Rosebud Road Quitman, AR 72131.
