It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fred Earl Reed of Searcy, Arkansas, who passed away on September 8, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Reed and Ida Reed; and his siblings, Albert Reed (Marcell), Melvin Reed (Arlee), Eileen Craig (Raymond), Naomi Beard and Phyllis McAtee.

He is survived by: his wife Julia; and his children, Fred Reed, Russell Reed, Eugene Reed (Martha Sue), Randy Reed (Shelly), Mary Griffith (Robert) and Peggy Smith (Alvin). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
