He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jean Tate; his daughters, Susan Harrington (Larry) of Searcy, Lori Shelton (Jim) of Searcy, Ann Neal (Eddie) of Searcy and Jill Wood (Michael) of Searcy; his sisters, Janice McCoy (Glenn) of Yorba Linda and Jo Lynn Wilson (Wayne) of Searcy; his grandchildren, Sarah Rowan of Little Rock, Benjamin Smith of Searcy, Hannah Giles of Paragould, Tyler Neal of Columbus, Mississippi, Niky Neal of Searcy, Ashley Perry of Searcy, McKenzie Reed of Searcy, Hunter Harrington of Searcy and Ethan Wood of Searcy; and his parents, Harry Tate and Geraldine Tate. He was also cherished by eleven great grandchildren.
Due to COVID restrictions, a private family service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p. m. followed by a family graveside service at Gum Springs Cemetery. COVID guidelines will be followed and face coverings must be worn at all times.
