She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy R Burge and Audra Merle McGee; her brothers, Robert Burge, Johnny Burge, Jack Burge and Jimmy Burge; and her husband John F. Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Bob Mitchell of West Helena, Amy Rutledge of Searcy and Bruce Mitchell (Patricia) of Cabot; her grandchildren, Audra "Mikki" Hamilton (John) of Searcy, Dr. Dale Rutledge (Ross Maestas) of Seattle, WA, Foster Mitchell (Brittany) of West Helena, Rebecca Morter (Phillip) of Fort Smith, Dr. Katherine "Katie" Mitchell-Davis (Trysten) of Little Rock and Sarah Mitchell (Daniel Torchinsky) of Little Rock; and her great grandchildren, John David, Jim Hamilton of Searcy, Easton and Kallen Mitchell of West Helena. She is also survived by three children, six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Garden (5671-5683 US 49, West Helena, AR 72390).
