He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest H. and Maggie A.; his wife Wanda Crumpacker; and his sister Maggie Ruth Clifton Alexander. He is survived by: his children, Bruce Clifton (Lisa Henderson) of San Anselmo, Diane Balbi (John Balbi) of Spirit Lake, Michael Clifton (Nona Clifton) of Snohomish and Brian Clifton (Sarah Stinson) of Sacramento, California.; his granddaughters, Brenda Clifton (Adrian Young) of Anacortes and Sarah Balbi (Abhishek Singh) of Morgan Hill; and also Florence Balbi Singh of Morgan Hill, California..
