He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie L. Moffitt and Bessie J. Moffitt (Clay); and his siblings, Arthur "Doc", Melvin "Mutt", Clayton, Jewel Moffitt, Elosie Towsend and Lucille Moffitt.
He is survived by: his children, Timmy Moffitt (Michele) and Pamela Roberson (Andy); his grandsons, Cody Roberson (Allison), Dustin Moffitt (Sarah) and Aaron Moffitt (Kelsey); his great grandchild Layton Roberson; and his sisters, Mary Harris (Roger) and Orean Taylor.
