He is survived by: his wife Reva Townsend; his son Teddy Townsend (Linda); his sister Glenda Hensley; his siblings-in-law, Roger Pate (Nancy), Rhonda Staggs and Renee Drake (David); and his aunts and uncles, Elzie Moffitt (Mary Nell), Clayton Moffitt (Patsy), Orean Taylor and Mary Harris (Roger). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
